The right cremation services Pennsburg, PA honors your loved one. If you’re not sure how to go about doing that, there are traditions from around the world that you may want to follow. Eastern traditions can easily be adopted in the West. You may do this because you share the cultural practice or simply because you admire them.

Buddhist

Cremation is common in Buddhist beliefs. The body and the soul are distinct entities. When someone dies, the soul passes on. Either the person is reincarnated in a new life form or the soul escapes the cycle and enters nirvana. Either way, there’s no returning to the physical body.

Cremation isn’t destroying anything. The person’s soul is untouched by the action. There are Buddhist religious centers scattered across the U.S. If you would like to host your loved one’s cremation service at one, you need to visit first.

The service itself usually relies on prayers and chanting.

Sikh

Antam Sanksar is the term for the Sikh death rites. They believe that death is a natural process and it’s also part of God’s will. Like Buddhists, the Sikhs believe in reincarnation. The soul is untouched by the act of death. It continues to experience reincarnation until it can break these bounds and return to earth.

Sikhs prefer cremation to standard burials. The process itself many prayers and chants.

A cremation service is an interesting thing. There are many influences that go into. The Eastern principles that guide many cremations are valid if you believe in religious history. If you don’t, there’s still beauty and wonder to be found.

Everyone on earth will die at some point. Their bodies, hopefully, will then be taken care of. Everyone will either be buried or cremated. Because it’s a decision that affects all of us, it’s worth thinking about.

If you already know that your loved one wanted to be cremated, you’re in a better spot. You don’t have to make any tough decisions. If you don’t know what the deceased wanted, you’ll have to try to make the best decision that you can using the information that you already have. For example, perhaps you don’t know what the deceased wanted but if most of the family practiced a certain religion or ideal, then you should assume that’s what the deceased wanted as well.

Cremation services are always a heavy subject. If you don’t have that to fall back on either, you have to make a decision based on your own values. Do you believe in traditional burials or cremations? If you decide that cremation is a better option, you don’t have to defend yourself. Just know that you’re acting right by the deceased. That’s what ultimately matters.
